Working with CHOICE Advisory Services is a good resource for seniors and their families who are looking for senior housing information and good, sound advice on senior care and housing options. The funding for CHOICE comes from the senior housing and care companies. They pay CHOICE when an advisor helps you arrange services. The contract with each housing or care company is exactly the same, so you get completely unbiased support that is based on your needs and what is most appropriate for you, not on who is paying more to get you in the door.
Once CHOICE receives a request for their services by phone or email, they follow these steps to provide you with thoughtful, individualized support.
You advisor will assess your needs either in person or by phone. They gather information about your specific situation, determine the level of support you require, learn about your financial resources, and gain understanding of your preferences for location and amenities, etc.
Next, the advisor will narrow down your list to the options that are most appropriate for you. Then you and your family can contact the homes on the list and make arrangements to visit, or your advisor can contact the communities on your behalf.
Then it’s time to make the visits. You have the option of having your CHOICE advisor go with you, or be with you when the providers visit you in your home.
